Use it on clean, dry tires in a well-ventilated area. To clean the tires thoroughly, spray a product like Meguiar's D107 Tire & Trim Power Plus or Meguiar's D101 All Purpose Cleaner. Scrub with a tire brush and rinse with water. Make sure the tire is completely dry. This step will remove all dirt, grime, and previous tire dressings to ensure maximum performance. For a high-gloss finish: spray an even layer of tire shine directly onto the tires and let it spread itself. Remove any excess spray from the wheels or surrounding surfaces. Medium gloss: spray the tire dressing onto the tires and spread using a foam applicator or a towel. Remove any excess spray from the wheels or surrounding surfaces.
